In this guide

MSPortal, ScalePad Lifecycle Manager, CloudRadial and Invarosoft are alternatives to evaluate alongside myITprocess when reviewing your MSP's advisory tools. The right shortlist depends on whether you want to change your assessment process, connect recommendations to delivery or bring client reviews into a broader portal.

myITprocess alternatives at a glance

AlternativeOur recommended evaluation focusWhat to bring to the demo
MSPortalReviews connected to budgets and project follow-throughA recommendation that became a real project
Lifecycle ManagerClient planning within the ScalePad product familyAn asset-driven budget discussion
CloudRadialAdvisory work alongside the client portalA review and an employee support request
InvarosoftThe fit of its advisory and CX productsYour review agenda and proposed module list

These are different approaches to the same business problem, not a feature-for-feature replacement list.

Preserve the advisory process before changing the tool

Your assessment method is the first thing to protect when replacing myITprocess. Kaseya's product page describes recurring assessments, a standards library and strategic roadmaps. If those structures are central to your service, make them explicit requirements.

Separate methodology from presentation. You may be happy with the questions your team asks but dissatisfied with how recommendations reach the client. Alternatively, the presentation may work while the assessment process has become too difficult to maintain. These are different problems and should produce different evaluation criteria.

Retain myITprocess on your shortlist if the existing process is repeatable and clients act on its recommendations. A new interface is not, by itself, evidence that the advisory service will improve.

1. MSPortal for turning reviews into accountable work

MSPortal is our recommendation when you want the review, budget and resulting project to remain visible within the client relationship. Its vCIO tools, budgeting and projects provide the published product areas to explore.

Choose a recommendation that stalled after a meeting. Recreate the decision, owner and next step in the demo. Ask what the client sees a week later, and how the account manager knows whether the recommendation has progressed before the next QBR.

Best fit: an advisory team prioritizing follow-through. Validate: whether your assessment structure and scoring requirements can be represented accurately. Do not change your service methodology accidentally while changing software.

2. Lifecycle Manager for ScalePad-centered planning

ScalePad Lifecycle Manager lists assessments, budgets, meetings and roadmaps among its modules. Evaluate it if you want to connect your planning process to that product family.

Use a client with incomplete or conflicting asset records. Ask how your team would reconcile the information before using it in a budget recommendation. An attractive roadmap should still make sense when the underlying data needs cleanup.

Best fit: a team exploring ScalePad's approach to client planning. Validate: the availability and commercial scope of the modules shown, and the specific connections to your stack.

3. CloudRadial for portal-centered account management

CloudRadial includes planning and reporting within its client portal feature set. Consider it if your goal is to give advisory work a home alongside everyday client interactions.

Test the transition between audiences. An employee should be able to request support without navigating strategic material, while a business sponsor should be able to find priorities without reading ticket queues. Ask your account manager to present the same client story from the proposed setup.

Best fit: an MSP evaluating advisory work and portal engagement together. Validate: how much of your current assessment process needs to be reconstructed.

4. Invarosoft for its advisory and CX product mix

Invarosoft's published product lineup includes vCIO Hero for reviews and Invarosoft CX for the support experience. Ask for a demonstration of the particular combination you intend to buy.

Use an existing agenda and ask the presenter to move from a technical finding to a client decision. Then determine how that decision is recorded and revisited. Keep the buying conversation tied to the products demonstrated, rather than the entire vendor portfolio.

Best fit: a team evaluating advisory tooling alongside client support access. Validate: module boundaries, workflow handoffs and the work needed to maintain your review templates.

How to pilot a myITprocess alternative

Run one completed review through each candidate before planning a wider migration. This gives you a known result to compare against.

  1. Recreate the assessment questions, scoring and evidence for that client.
  2. Present the priorities to someone who did not prepare the review.
  3. Record accepted, deferred and rejected recommendations separately.
  4. Assign the next action and trace it into your delivery process.
  5. Check how historical reviews remain accessible after migration.

Evaluate the quality of the decisions and the work required to sustain the process. For an example of MSPortal's presentation approach, explore the sample review, then book a workflow demo.
