MSPortal, ScalePad Lifecycle Manager, myITprocess and CloudRadial are worth evaluating as Lifecycle Insights alternatives. Existing users should also assess staying with Lifecycle Insights: ScalePad says the product remains supported and has no planned end-of-life date, so this is a workflow decision rather than a forced migration.

Is Lifecycle Insights being discontinued?

ScalePad's Lifecycle Insights page says there is no planned end-of-life date and that current partners can continue using the platform. It also describes migration tooling as being developed, while directing new customer-success development toward Lifecycle Manager. These statements were checked on October 5, 2026.

Do not plan a migration around an assumed shutdown or an assumed one-click transfer. Ask your account manager which capabilities and migration tools are available for your account today. Get a specific answer about assessments, templates and past meeting records.

If the existing workflow serves clients well, use the time to test alternatives with a small pilot. The evaluation should establish a useful improvement, not merely a different destination for the same data.

1. MSPortal for connected client follow-through

MSPortal is worth evaluating if you want client reviews, financial planning and project visibility to share a workspace. Start with its vCIO tools, budgeting and project management.

Use a recommendation that was approved in a past meeting. Show the proposed budget, the delivery owner and the current status. Then ask a client decision-maker to find the next action without opening a separate spreadsheet or requesting a status email.

Best fit: an MSP prioritizing continuity between the review and the work. Validate: your required lifecycle data sources and migration path. A planning workspace should not be assumed to replace every specialist asset or warranty workflow.

See MSPortal vs Lifecycle Insights for the direct comparison.

2. Lifecycle Manager for a ScalePad transition

Lifecycle Manager lists assessments, budgets, meetings and roadmaps in its product offering. It is the natural internal candidate to investigate alongside external alternatives.

Ask the vendor to demonstrate the destination workflow using one of your existing client records. Separate available functionality from announced functionality, and separate automatic migration from manual recreation. Keep those distinctions in the written implementation plan.

Best fit: a team considering a change within the ScalePad ecosystem. Validate: actual transfer coverage, module availability, commercial terms and the work needed to run both systems during a transition.

3. myITprocess for assessment-led advisory

myITprocess describes assessments, standards and strategic roadmaps. Consider it if you want to revisit the process your team uses to evaluate clients, rather than simply move the existing presentation.

Bring a representative assessment, including a finding where the client accepted the risk. Ask how the team distinguishes a technical gap from a business priority and how that decision carries into the next review.

Best fit: a team standardizing its advisory methodology. Validate: the effort to translate existing assessments and preserve historical context.

4. CloudRadial for a portal-led approach

CloudRadial's feature list spans planning, reporting and client support. Put it on the shortlist when the broader question is whether to bring account management into a portal clients already visit.

Evaluate the experience between meetings. Ask the client to locate a recommendation, understand its priority and find the next action. Then verify that everyday support remains easy to access for employees who do not attend QBRs.

Best fit: an MSP reviewing its wider client portal strategy. Validate: the depth of the planning workflow against your current reviews.

A migration checklist for Lifecycle Insights users

Plan around preserving the client's decision history. Moving current asset data alone will not preserve why a recommendation was deferred or how a budget was agreed.

  • Inventory assessments, templates, meeting records, recommendations and supporting documents.
  • Identify what can be exported, what the destination can import and what needs manual work.
  • Recreate a completed QBR and compare the resulting client narrative.
  • Pilot the next review before moving the rest of the client base.
  • Confirm how old records will remain accessible and who owns the cutover.

Use the sample MSPortal review to assess presentation fit, then bring your migration requirements to a demo. Keep your existing process available until the replacement has passed the pilot.
