In this guide

MSPortal, Invarosoft, DeskDirector and myITprocess are worth shortlisting as CloudRadial alternatives, depending on whether you need a shared client workspace, a desktop support experience, service workflows or a dedicated advisory process. Start with the job you want to improve: replacing a portal and improving a QBR are different buying decisions.

What are you replacing in CloudRadial?

CloudRadial covers more than ticket submission. Its published feature list includes client reporting, a planner, knowledge resources and PSA connections. Make a list of the parts you actually use before comparing alternatives.

A portal can satisfy the service desk while leaving the account manager with a separate spreadsheet for the next client meeting. Equally, an excellent QBR tool might not improve how employees request help. Decide whose experience needs to change first: end users, client decision-makers or your own delivery team.

Keep CloudRadial in the evaluation if your existing setup already supports these workflows. The useful benchmark is whether another product improves a real client interaction enough to justify configuration, migration and retraining.

1. MSPortal for the client review-to-delivery workflow

MSPortal is our recommendation when your goal is to connect the client conversation to what happens afterward. Its vCIO tools, budgeting and project management sit within the broader client portal.

Build your evaluation around a concrete scenario. Bring a recommendation from a client review, assign an owner, put it into a budget and show the client where delivery stands. Then return to the next review and check whether the team can explain what changed without assembling a separate presentation from scratch.

Best fit: an MSP that wants account management and client visibility to share a workspace. Validate: the exact integrations and data flows your team uses. A connector name alone does not prove that every field or workflow will transfer.

2. Invarosoft for a desktop support entry point

Invarosoft lists a branded desktop helpdesk app and client portal as part of Invarosoft CX. Consider it when the immediate goal is making support easier for employees to find.

In the pilot, ask an employee to submit a request without coaching. Ask a client manager to find its status. Watch where each person hesitates, then check how much setup your technicians needed to make that experience work.

Best fit: a support-led portal evaluation. Validate: the specific CX and advisory modules included in your proposed package, rather than treating every product in the vendor's portfolio as part of one purchase.

3. DeskDirector for structured service requests

DeskDirector describes a platform for ticketing, custom forms and workflow automation. Consider it when your portal project is primarily about capturing better requests and routing work consistently.

Use an onboarding request with a manager approval as the demo scenario. Include an incomplete form, a rejected approval and a change after submission. Happy-path demos are easy; exceptions reveal how much administration the process will need.

Best fit: service teams with a clear process to implement. Validate: who maintains forms and approvals after launch, and how changes appear in the PSA.

4. myITprocess for a dedicated advisory process

myITprocess publishes structured assessments, a standards library and strategic roadmaps. It belongs on the shortlist if the main reason for evaluating CloudRadial alternatives is the advisory side of the relationship.

Take an existing assessment and recreate its scoring and recommendations. Ask another account manager to use it. The question is whether your methodology remains consistent across clients and staff, not just whether the presentation looks polished.

Best fit: a team organizing its technology alignment process. Validate: the end-user support experience separately; do not assume an advisory tool replaces every portal workflow.

How to choose your CloudRadial replacement

Run the same pilot through each shortlisted product:

  1. Have an employee raise a request and a manager find its status.
  2. Prepare a client review using the information your team already maintains.
  3. Turn a recommendation into an accountable next step with an owner and a budget.
  4. Check what the client can see without exposing internal notes.
  5. Record setup effort, manual handoffs and the complete commercial proposal.

If the review-to-delivery handoff is your priority, see MSPortal in a demo. Use the pricing page for current terms, and bring your real client scenario to the conversation.
